Definition of Pitcher Outs

What does the term "pitcher outs" mean in the world of baseball betting? What is meant by the term "pitching outs"?

In baseball betting, "pitcher outs" is one of the pitcher specific lines that you can bet on.

The Pitcher out meaning is discussed when it comes to baseball. In photo: New York Yankees player is pitching the ball. With the "pitcher outs" line, you can bet on whether a pitcher will post more or less than a certain number of "outs" in a game.

For instance - let's say that the Toronto Blue Jays are playing the New York Yankees. The "pitcher outs" line for Gausman might look like this:

Over 18.5 Outs, -110
Under 18.5 Outs, -110

If you think that Gausman will have a strong outing and go more than 6 innings (meaning that he recorded at least 18 outs), you would want to take the "over".

If you think that Gausman is due for a weaker start and will not be able to record at least 19 outs, you'd want to take the under.

Pitchers tend to be fairly streaky in Major League Baseball, which means that a bettor that is closely following things may be able to gain an edge.
