What does the term "superflex" mean in the world of fantasy football? What is meant by "superflex"?

Superflex is a fantasy football format that has grown tremendously in popularity over the past 5 or so years.

In the superflex format, there is a "flex" spot where you can put a wide receiver, running back, tight end OR quarterback.

So, let's say that you have Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady on your team.

You could put Tom Brady in your QB slot, and Patrick Mahomes in your superflex spot.

Quarterbacks, on average, score the most points of any position (by far), so having two good quarterbacks on your team is a massive advantage in the superflex format.

For this reason, quarterbacks have a very high value in the superflex format.

In a superflex draft, top quarterbacks will go in the first round, and will often go first overall.
