What is the "Yellow Wall"? What does the "Yellow Wall" stand for in the world of football?

Yellow Wall is the nickname for the south terrace of the Borussia Dortmund's Westfalenstadion, also known as the Signal Iduna Park. The Sudtribune (South Bank) is the largest free-standing terrace in Euro football and it is regularly full to the 24,454 capacity.

The Westfalenstadion is the largest in Germany and it can fit 80,645 people for league matches and up to 65,590 people for international matches.



Visually, the Yellow Wall is one of the most impressive things one can see at a football stadium. Thousands of people dressed in yellow and black (the colours of Borussia Dortmund) supporting their team from a steep terrace resembling a wall.

The Borussia Dortmund fans are some of the most passionate ones out there. Their club's motto is Echte Liebe, which when translated from German means "True Love".
