Ashley Cole is a retired English footballer widely regarded as one of the finest left-backs of his generation.

He began his professional career with Arsenal, coming up through their youth system. Cole was a key member of the "Invincibles," the Arsenal team that went unbeaten in the Premier League during the 2003-04 season. With Arsenal, he won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups. Other members of the famous Gunners team were Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Denis Bergkamp.

In 2006, Cole transferred to Chelsea, a move that led some fans to nickname him "Cashley" due to perceptions that the switch was financially motivated. At Chelsea, he continued his success by winning another Premier League title, four FA Cups, the UEFA Champions League in 2012, and the UEFA Europa League in 2013.

For the England national team, Cole earned 107 caps between 2001 and 2014, making him one of the country's most capped players. He participated in three FIFA World Cups and two UEFA European Championships. Known for his defensive skills and ability to support attacks, Ashley Cole is considered one of the greatest left-backs in English football history.
