Known as "El Apache," a reference to his challenging childhood in Buenos Aires' tough Fuerte Apache neighborhood, the nickname reflects his combative style of play.

Born in 1984, Tevez started his career at Boca Juniors, quickly moving to West Ham United in 2006. His success continued at Manchester United, where he won two Premier League titles and a Champions League. He then joined Manchester City in a contraversial move (Manchester United and Manchester City are big rivals), where he played a key role in their emergence as a Premier League powerhouse, including winning the title in the 2011-2012 season. He also played for Juventus and Shanghai Shenhua, winning more titles and more trophies. He retired at his boyhood club Boca Juniors.

Internationally, he won Olympic gold in 2004 with Argentina.

Known for his determination and scoring in key moments of the game, Tevez is a respected figure in the world of football.
