Connor McDavid, a professional ice hockey player from Canada, is considered one of the best in the world.



Drafted first overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 2015, he made his debut in the same season. Known for his speed, agility, and playmaking, McDavid has consistently been a top point scorer in the league.

Nicknamed "McJesus," he is seen as a savior for the Oilers and the sport itself. At 19, he became the youngest captain in NHL history. In the 2020-2021 season, he scored 105 points in 56 games. He has also won gold with Team Canada at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship and the 2016 IIHF World Championship.

McDavid's accolades include multiple Art Ross Trophies for being the leading point scorer in the leage, Hart Memorial Trophies for being the Most Valuable Player (MVP), and Ted Lindsay Awards for being the most outstanding player. Connor McDavid most recently took his Edmonton Oilers to the Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, where they lost to Florida Panthers after an awesome 3-game comeback.
