Eusebio da Silva Ferreira is the best African-born football player ever.



Eusebio was born in Mozambique and played the "beautiful game" at Benfica for most of his career, as well as the Portuguese national team. He was a prolific scorer and a force to be reckoned with. He was able to outrun opposing players with explosive acceleration and fast speed. He would use both of his feet with skill and grace, but more often than not, when it came to shooting, he used his right, which was a cannon.

Eusebio is the best player that Benfica has ever had. He won the Ballon d'Or in 1965 and was the runner-up for the award two more times.

Nicknamed the "Black Panther" because of his speed and the "Black Pearl" because he was that rare and special of a player, Eusebio is one of the football greats.
