Tom Brady is undoubtedly one of the greatest football players to ever step onto the field. He has reached a record 9 Super Bowls and won another record 6 of those. He's broken the records for all-time career touchdown passes and pass attempts. Even at the age of 41, he still helped the New England Patriots to a Super Bowl title. On account of this, he's picked up nicknames like "Tom Terrific" and has even trademarked "California Cool".



Brady was drafted 199th by the Patriots at the 200 NFL Draft from the University of Michigan. In only his second season he became the starting quarterback and led the Patriots to a Super Bowl victory. This would continue, as he led them to consecutive Super Bowl wins in 2003 and 2004. Brady only lost his first Super Bowl (while playing) in 2007, to the New York Giants.

One of the biggest controversies of Brady's time with New England came in 2016, after the "Deflategate" scandal. Brady was accused of having the footballs used in the 2014 AFC Championship game deflated and got a 4-game suspension for it.

Brady would continue his success with the Patriots until 2020, when he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at age 42. At the time of writing, he has helped the Bucs to a 11-5 record in the regular season, while also helping them to a 31-26 win over the Green Bay Packers for the NFC Championship.
