Sports Clubs / Ultras: Lazio - Irriducibile

The fanatic supporters of Societa Sportiva Lazio are perhaps some of the most famous in the world for their fascist tendencies. Founded in 1987, the Irriducibile are some of the most right-wing ultras that can be found in Italy.

The Irriducibile formed partially in response to their rivals: Roma's left-wing supporter group the Fedayn were understandably their opposite. This right-wing supporter group would regularly become known for their violence, racism, choreography and their adoration of Benito Mussolini.

Perhaps the most famous display came in 1998-99, when a 50-meter banner was displayed that read "Auschwitz is your town, the ovens are your houses". Booing and monkey chants have been almost constant, regardless of who they are playing. Stickers all over the south side of the stadium displayed Anne Frank and the words "The Roma fan is a Jew".

As of the 27th of February 2020, the Irriducibile disbanded. The statement was made that there waas "Too much blood, too many arrests". This came a year after the group's leader, Fabrizio Piscitelli (known as Diabolik), was assassinated by what was believed to be a professional hitman.

The Irriducibili are now gone and known as the Ultras Lazio. As movements sought to clamp down on the racist, violent and anti-Semitic elements of group, new devlopments needed to be made. Whether or not this new group will be able to avoid such horrid elements of their past while displaying the same sort of passion is yet to be seen.
